She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Catherine Mathews and Bowie; her husband Johnnie Ellington II; her daughters, Kayla Ellington and Kendra Henkel (William); her stepchildren, Sherria Page and Branden Page; her sister Carolyn Register; her uncle Charles Bowie (Lillie); her aunt Mary Harris; and her son Damone Thomas (Linda Woods Knight). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
