With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Nesbit (Sandusky, Ohio), who passed away on May 11, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Farris and Ella Mae Farris (Hunter); her daughter Shondra Nesbit; her siblings, Dorothy Farris, Wilbert Farris, Frederick Farris, Walter Farris and John Farris; her grandparents, Ben, Amelia Farris, Henry and Mary Pollard; her grandson-in-law Tavon Myers; her grandson Jonathan Pearson; her niece Shawna C. Farris; and her great-niece Valencia Z. Holloway.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Farris Herrin, Vanessa Farris and Kayla Frazier (Bookey); her stepdaughters, Tammy of Sandusky and Creasha Pearson of Sandusky; her mother-in-law Hazel Thompson of Cleveland; her sisters, Josephine Roberts (Cecil), Lille Brown, Mary Jones (Kenneth), Ruth Fletcher and Jannice Farris of Sandusky; her grandchildren, Keoynia, Kevin, Bryonia Myers (Tavon), Ashandi Blount Pollard (Kevin), Asia Blount Blaking (Kendrick), Chappelle, Ondreous, Taryll, Quinjeria, Quinisha, Quinadja, Quinshia, Quincy, Jarika, Tori, Mia, Shaq, Jonishaia, Tia, Adonryea and Journee; and her close friends, Traci Payton, Linda Donald and Ramona Dickerson. She is also survived by 18 great-grand-children; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
