He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin R. Beachy and Mary H. Beachy (Rock); and his wife Elizabeth Ann Beachy (Lyon). He is survived by: his daughters, Beth Magnuson (Peter) of LaPorte, IN, Meg Clarkson (David Evenson) of Seattle, WA and Jane Roberson (Edward) of Spring Hill, FL; his grandchildren, Michael Haney, Emily Sveda (Chris), Lizzy Whitehead (Tim) and Erica Phillips (Cameron); and his great grandchildren, Ophelia Rae, Wesley Joseph and Avery Alene.
