It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ossie Pearson of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Talladega, Alabama, who passed away on February 12, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Pearson; her mother Beulah Terrell; and her brothers, Eddie Frank Smoot, Thomas Lee Smoot and Charles E. Smoot.

She is survived by: her children, Osmond Leroy Pearson (Pamela) of Kalamazoo, MI, Anthony Jerome Pearson of Sandusky, Paulette Roane (Harold) of Sandusky, Philip Tyrone Pearson (Triianne) and Patrick Alan Pearson (Andrya); her sister Willie Frances Amison (Smoot); and her sister-in-law Randa Smoot. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Ossie's name may be made to Ebenezer Baptist Church.

“Hi you don’t know me but I sure knew Ossie! We worked at Good Samaritan hospital! She always had a smile and a little bit of being mischievous! The supervisor would catch us together laughing! While we were testing urine for sugar on diabetics! Ossie was a hard worker loved by everyone! She will be missed! God be with you as you celebrate her wonderful life!”
