It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Louis Payton of Sandusky, Ohio, who passed away on August 16, 2021, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas T. J. and Mildred Payton; his brother Ray Payton; and his grandparents, Henry and Mary Ford.
He is survived by: his wife Crystal Payton; his sons, Mazi Nickelson (Marquisa) of Boston, Mass, Michael Louis Gibson of Cincinnati and Martinez Louis Payton of Cincinnati; his brothers, Greg L. and James L. Payton (Tracie); his nephews, Kory, Darius (Lexi) and James Brown; and his grandchildren, K'leona Nickelson, Michael, Ma'kylah Gibson, Demetrius, Demylah, Demauri, Martinez Jr., Mariana Payton, Lyric, Layla Fiske and Amir Jones. He is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
