We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2021, at the age of 86, Mae Dean (Hardiman) Matthews of Sandusky, Ohio, born in Athens, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Audrie Hardiman and Josephine Hardiman (Woodfin); her husband Norbert Matthews Sr.; her sisters, Hazel Jackson and Virginia McClain (Gayle); her sons-in-law, Greg LeGron and Armond Hamburg; and her stepsons, Gary, Mike and Tim Matthews.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ramon of Fremont, Patty Guevara (Angelo) of Sandusky, Rita LeGron of Castalia and Danny Jenkins (Janet) of Sandusky; her stepchildren, Diane Fee, Carol Bohl (Eric), Yvonne Maldonado (Pete), Vonda Matthews, Doug Matthews, Norbert Matthews Jr. (Goulia) and Paul Matthews; and her sisters, Shirley Jean Lucas, Yorkie and Princess. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
