He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clark and Ethel Boone (Lee); his wife Joan K. Boone (Wichman); his son Lynn Boone; his siblings, Katie Dedman, Earl "Sonny" Boone, Jr., Jack and Luther Boone; and his siblings-in-law, Ginny Kent and Weldon Newsom.
He is survived by: his children, Lois A. Boone, Jack Boone (Brenda) and Jerry Boone (Silke); his grandchildren, Brandi Rooney (John), Dr. Tiffany Taylor (Chad), Jeremy Boone (Courtney), Ashley Walsh (Tom), Stephanie Spore (Todd), Michelle McLaughlin (Shaun), Aubrey, Jocelyn and Rachel Boone; his great grandchildren, Katelyn, Makayla Rooney, Mason, Mitchell, Madelyn Boone, Isla, Fisher Walsh, Alexa, Joseph, Giuliana Spore, Aria and Skylar McLaughlin; and his sister Rosie Newsom. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Stein Hospice Service, Inc., 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
