He was predeceased by: his parents, John Giardina and Anna Maria Giardina (Spinali); and his siblings, Santo D. Giardina, Joe Giardina and Domenica "Mickey" Giummo.

He is survived by: his daughter Ann Anderson (Ross). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
