She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Mickey" and Ida Nielsen (Sprau); her nephew Robert Michael "Mikey" Hamlin II; her sister-in-law Barbara Gorman; and her children, Vagabond and Benji.
She is survived by: her husband Peter of Clyde, OH; her children, Amy Williams (Ben) of Holland, OH, Erik Knef of Norwalk, OH and Craig Knef (Chris) of Ballston Spa, NY; her grandchildren, Clara and Alex Williams; her sisters, Janet Hamilton (John) of Tallahassee, FL and Jackie Hamlin of Sandusky, OH; her niece Elizabeth "Libby" Provost (Paul) of Alpharetta, GA; and her brother-in-law Tom Gorman of Asheville, NC.
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, Erie County Humane Society, Back to The Wild, or St. Stephen's UCC.
