He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene N. Smith and Janet M. Smith (Wentz); his brothers, Donald L. Smith and Jeffrey A. Smith; and his nephew Michael S Corbin.
He is survived by: his partner Kelly Klingelsmith; his sons, Joseph M. Smith of Monroeville, Eric J. Smith of Columbus, Logan R. Dabney of Sandusky and Cameron M. Dabney of Sandusky; his grandson Brandt J. Smith; and his siblings, Michael N. Smith of Sandusky, Jean A. Corbin (Michael) of Sandusky, Sandra M. McNutt of Florida and Marsha L. Smith-Koch of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives & friends.
