He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wikel and Lucille Wikel of Berlin Heights; his siblings, Neil and Virginia; and his former wife Charlene (Brown).

He is survived by: his wife Alice Wikel (Hay); his grandson Harry; his daughters, Tamara, Tana and Amanda; his sons-in-law, Greg Cook and Phillip Myers; and his siblings, Sara O'Neal (Mike) of Huron, Ned Wikel (Carol) of Swanton, Dean Wikel (Terri) and Berlin Heights. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
