He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold James "Blake" and Anita Julia Blakely (Roth); and his siblings, Karen Warren, Kenneth Blakely, Sr. and James "Tim" Blakely.
He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Blakely (Riedy); his children, Deborah A. Blakely (Jim Harris), Christine M. Fresch (Christopher) and David L. Blakely, Jr. (Vanessa) of Sandusky; his grandchildren, Jennifer Weyer (Edmund), Jason Fresch, Chelsea Holstrom (Elliott), Jessica Blakely (Ben Roberts), David L. Blakely III (Kristine Baker), Isabella, Matthew and Dominic Blakely; his great grandchildren, Madison, Morgan Weyer, Cooper, Brody Fresch and Hunter Lee Blakely; and his sister Mary Ann Koelsch of Castalia. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 health concerns, the wearing of face masks (they will be offered) and social distancing will be mandatory.
