She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Sloan and Catherine Sloan (Brayman); her husband James A. Smith; her son Ronald Smith; and her siblings, Grace Bauman, Harold and Ralph Sloan.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara May (Robert), Pamela Scarpelli (Marc) and Jim Smith (Linda); her grandchildren, Bob May, Brian May, Rick May (Shannon Gerraughty), Annee Smith, Jamie Evans (Steve) and Jennifer Rosa (Jason); her great grandchildren, Brooks May, Luke Evans, Aiden Rosa, Megan Evans and Emery Rosa; and her sister Carol Lauro (Gene). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
