She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gunder Rudolph and Mabel Skadeland (Winans); her husband Carlos; her children, Eric Alafita (Theresa Allman) of Chelsea, MI and Rhonda Alafita; her grandson Dylan; her daughter Michelle Smith (Christopher) of Ft. Wayne, IN; her grandsons, Riley, Noah, Ian Smith, Issac, Augustine and Leo Alafita; her siblings, David Skadeland of Sugarland, TX, Daniel Skadeland of Oregon, OH, Michael Skadeland of Chicago, IL and Roberta Wodarski (Fanelly) of Toledo; her brother-in-law Raul "Rudy" Alafita of Adrian, MI; her stepmother Earlene Fanelly; her brothers, Kenneth Fanelly and John Skadeland; her nephew David Wodarski; her brothers-in-law, Ronald Wodarski and Pedro Rodriguez; and her stepfather Leroy Berry. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
