He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Arnold Sr. and Gladys Yvonne Gast (Haynes); his wife Florence Anna Gast (Gysan); and his son Joshua Gast. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Porcher (David) of Sandusky, Melanie Gast of Chesapeake, VA and Joseph Gast (Brittany) of Akron; his grandsons, David and Aaron Porcher; and his sisters, Linda Velliquette (Larry) of Castalia and Carol Gast of Castalia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
