He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Kurtz and Mollie Kurtz (Lehman); his wife Lola Ann (Sheller); his son Daniel (Priscilla); his siblings, Raymond, Wilbur and Anna Marie Kurtz; and his great grandchild Gloria Bagwell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherri Goodwin (Dean) and Linda Witmer (Mark). He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
