She is survived by: her husband Paul Broering; her children, Jim, Jan Broering, Lisa, Kenny Francisco, Marysville, Linda, Ben Schmitmeyer, Diane, Dave Hoying, Minster, Sheila, Paul Balster, Hilliard, Kevin Broering, Brian, Jill Broering, Troy, Amy, David Gengo, Gahanna, Todd and Molly Broering; her siblings, Marilyn, Leonard Holdheide, Pat, Vernon Grieshop, Ronald Schmiesing and Henry Schmiesing; and her parents-in-law, Mary, Louie Grieshop, Elmer, Luke, Barb Broering, Donald, Janice Broering, Robert, Betty Broering, Jean, Orville Borgert, Walter, Shirley Broering, Dennis and Sharon Ontrop. She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations may be made to The Center for Neurological Development in Burkettsville, the Cancer Association of Mercer County, or The Shrine of the Holy Relics, Maria Stein.
