He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Evers and Alvina Evers (Hoying). He is survived by: his siblings, Donald Evers (Verena) of New Bremen and Jeanette Siefring (Lavern) of New Weston. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Aloysius Church.
