She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank F. Kremer and Rose A. Kremer (Depweg); her former husband Elmer J. Abels; her husband Cletus W. Schmitz; and her son-in-law Randy Stephens.
She is survived by: her parents-in-law, Kathy Jones of Powell, Nancy, Stan Nagel of Dublin, Diane Stephens of Columbus Grove, Brenda Abels of Vandalia, OH, Donald, Donna Kremer of Coldwater, Gerald and Joyce Kremer of Montezuma. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren, as well as siblings.
