He was predeceased by: his son Billy; his parents, Christo Papaterpos and Efthia Papaterpos; his father-in-law Tony; and his sibling Athena.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Dear; his parent-in-law Jean Jelenich; his siblings, Marika, Zissis, Michael Papaterpos (Ermioni) and John; and his godchild Sofiya Ivanoff.
