He was predeceased by: his parents, Despina Spanos and George Spanos; and his brother Jim. He is survived by: his wife Theresa "Terry"; his granddaughter Chloe; his brother Nick (Koula); and his children, Despina, Loula, George, Jennifer (Christopher) and Alexis.
