She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Zavela and Harry Zavela; her sister Ann Zona; and also William "Bill" Holmes. She is survived by: her children, Susan Douglas (Aron) and Michael Holmes-Goulet (Dennis); her grandsons, Stephen and Jonathan Douglas; and her siblings, Stella Kinzel of Parma, Minerva Lashchuk and John Zavela.
