She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband John Kilgour Stuart; her children, Christie Porter (James) and Jack Stuart (Karen); her grandchildren, Douglas Porter, Christopher Stuart (Haley), David Stuart, Megan VanGroningen (David), Kalee Blackburn (Landis) and Sarah Stuart; and her siblings, Mary Ruth Saxton and Joseph Cravens.
