He was predeceased by: his parents, John Van Sidenbender and Mabel Mae Williams Sidenbender. He is survived by: his wife Martha Shaffer; his daughters, Karen Nuttle (Casey) of Rockford, Kaye Ross (Kevin) of Rockford, Kelley Hager (Brian) of Kettering and Karla Butler (John) of Rockford; his brother Tommy Lynn Sidenbender (Barb) of Rockford; and his grandchildren, Jordan Ross (Alison), Grant Ross (Jasmine Conley), Eric Bills, Kristin (Chris McDorman), Andy Hager (Stephanie), Drew Ross (Brad Hansman), Craig Bills (Lisa), Michael Nuttle (Alaine), Ben Hager (Amanda Amburgey), Joe Hager (Irene Brooks), Krista Baer (Tom) and Shaun Butler. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren.
