He is survived by: his wife Ometta Jean Courtney (Cook) of Rockbridge; his children, Bruce David Courtney (Wilma) of Logan, Tim Courtney (Mandy McDowell) of New Plymouth, Russell D. Courtney of Graysville, Ronnie Lee Courtney Sr. (Angela) of Union Furnace, Ohio, Connie L. Courtney of Rockbridge and Deborah D. Gabriel of Logan; and his siblings, Douglas Courtney of Union Furnace, Ohio, Mary Davis of Union Furnace, Pearl Kearns of Nelsonville and Wanda Mohler of Logan. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
