He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph W.; his spouse Kay I. Staley Konkler; and his siblings, Herb Konkler, William Konkler, Dick Konkler, Gertrude Robinson and Nellie Ellinger.
He is survived by: his parent Nellie Shaner Konkler; and his children, James E. Konkler (Stacy) of Lancaster and Christy Schmidt (Chad) of Westerville. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
