He is survived by: his wife Alice M. Ayers (Sowers); his children, Jesse Ayers, Butch Ayers (Dee), John K. Ayers Jr. and Annette Spjut; and his grandchildren, Cypress Ayers, Taelynn Cook-Ayers, Mason McGee, Tyler Linscott, Donnie Rose, Shawna Spjut and Dakota Spjut. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren.
