He was predeceased by: his parents, James Schmidt and Lillian Schmidt of Richfield. He is survived by: his wife Lynda (Brand); his children, Rhonda Buck, Leonard Schmidt (Brenda), Angela Hearty (Todd), Nicole DeFrange (Chris), Denna Curtin and Lloyd Walker; and his great grandchildren, Ericka, James, Melynda, Kendall, Nicholas, McKenzie, Shane, Mason, Kaitlyn, Jared, Elliott, Ethan, Cooper, Colton, Reagan, Jacob and Baylee.
