She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Samuel J. Mazzer; her parents, William Barkovitz and Mary Barkovitz; and her brother Michael Barkovitz. She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Paula Mazzer, Mary Mazzer and Jessica Mazzer Julian; her son-in-law CJ Julian; her siblings, William, Karen Barkovitz, Carol, George Englemann, Susan and Chuck Johnson; and her caregiver Trae.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bissler and Sons Funeral Home (628 W Main St, Kent, OH 44240). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
She was honored with a Coleman Foundation Lifetime Achievement award in 2007.
