It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine Brown of Ravenna, Ohio, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Edwards and Mary Edwards (Claypool); her daughter Karen Ann Kawskay; her siblings, John Edwards and Lucille Kearns; her sons-in-law, Ronald Rector and Donald Phillips; her granddaughter Tammy Visalden; her great grandchild Bailey Rector; and her grandson Kevin Pastva.
She is survived by: her children, Stanley Kawskay Sr. (Betty) of Ravenna, Mary Phillips of Clarksburg and Donna Recto of Lorain; and her grandchildren, Stanley Kawskay Jr. of Ravenna, Pamela (Nathan Bowers) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ronald Rector of Lorain, Veronica (Michael Brock) of Lorain, David Phillps of Clarksburg and Carrie Hively (Steven). She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
