It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald E. Brode of Ravenna, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Beverly Brode (Davis); his parents, Oscar Brode and Juanita Brode (Wilms); and his brothers, Charles A. Brode (Al), Norman Brode and Glen William Weber (Billy).
He is survived by: his wife Dottie Brode (Miller); his sons, Jerry (Kelly) and Mike Brode (Teresa); his stepchildren, Michael Eisentraut (Lisa), Michele Lilly and Mark Eisentraut (Kelly); his grandchildren, Courtney Scheiderich (Joe), Amy Leonard (Brian), Davis, Jared, Hannah Brode, Amber Osborne (Mike), Sara Heppe (Adam), Sean Eisentraut (Ginny), Katelyn Pennington (Curtis), Emmelee Eisentraut (Jareth), Amanda Eisentraut, Haley Eisentraut and Lindsey Eisentraut; his great grandchildren, Pete Leonard, Olivia Osborne of Allison Osborne, A. J, Magdalene Heppe, Ida Mae Heppe and Dorthea Heppe; and his sisters-in-law, Carolyn Chambers, Nancy Davis and Marcia Landon.
