V, Lynette Hemsley of Zanesville, Ohio and Jason Smith of Washington; his stepchildren, Sid Pond (Vickie) of Moundsville, Michael Sloan (Elizabeth) of Las Vegas, Nev, Richard Sloan of Powhatan Point, Charlotte Doty (Harold) of Cameron, W. V and Sylvia "Sam" Speilman (James) of Moundsville; and his siblings, J. R. Smith of Dilles Bottom, Ohio and Bibianna Derrow of Moundsville. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
