He was predeceased by: his father Oren Earl; and his siblings, James Charles Wolery, Walter Wayne Wolery, Floyd Alexander Wolery, John Joseph Wolery, David Lee Wolery, Michael Errol Wolery, Anna Carroll Wolery Christman and Nancy Alice Wolery Kaseman.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Merritt Wolery; his children, William E. Wolery (Eva) of Portsmouth, Jennifer L. Wolery of Knoxville, TN and Nancy A. Little (Jeffrey) of Columbus; his sister Martha Jean Wolery Keller (Ray) of New Bern, NC; his sisters-in-law, Donna Wolery of Portsmouth, Audrey Hilliard of Orient and Sandra Wolery of Columbus; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Hacker, Andrew Hacker (Maranda), Anna Branham, Jacob Little and Jackson Little. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
