It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria J Bocook of Portsmouth, Ohio, who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gloria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Taylor and Edna Taylor (Owsley); her husband Joe Bocook; and her siblings, Roger Taylor, Judy Coe and Susan Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Sammy Bocook Jr., Beth Smith (Ed) of Pekin, IN and Amy Williams (Tom) of Portsmouth; and her sister Kim Huddleston (Jim) of Columbus. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
