She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Tinsley and Effie Tinsley (Allen); her husband John Brackey; her siblings, Louise Williams, Gordon Tinsley and Howard Tinsley; and her daughter-in-law Mary Ann Brackey.
She is survived by: her son Dr. Thomas Brackey; her grandson Thomas Brackey, II; her great grandchildren, Archer and Griffin Brackey; her nieces, Mary Louise Meyers, Angela Denham and Jeanette Bond; and her nephew Arthur Tinsley.
Edna chose to donate her body to the College of Medicine at The Ohio State University knowing this donation would benefit the advanced studies of medical students.
