With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lorin Melvin Jeffries of Port Clinton, Ohio, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Jeffries and Hazel Jeffries (Moore); and his siblings, Betty Jo, Littie Bea, Donald, James, Kenneth and Orin.
He is survived by: his wife Cleta Purtle; his sons, Douglas B. Jeffries (Teresa) of Helena, MT and Kent D. Jeffries (Krista) of Oak Harbor; his grandchildren, Connor-Shay Jeffries, Luke Barnett, Kirk Barnett, Ruben Barnett, Serena Barnett, Alex Barnett Crystal Barnett, Brayden Jeffries (Mel), Andrew Jeffries and Hannah Jeffries; and his great grandchild Briella Jeffries. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
