He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Bodie (Curtin) of Toledo and John Edward; and also Patricia A. Nelson (Bodie) of Galax, Virginia.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret C. Bodie; his children, John "Chip" Bodie (Leigh) of Lakewood, Ohio, Ann Stauffer (John) of Sandusky, Ohio and David Bodie (Michelle) of Port Clinton, Ohio; his grandchildren, Megan, Andrew, Audrey, Jack, Nick, Nora and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Leo and Josie; and his siblings, Harry Bodie, Dorothy Swanbeck, Mary Bodie and Frank Bodie. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
