He is survived by: his wife Diane Nichter; his children, Lori Powe (Joshua) and Mike Nichter; his grandchildren, Adam Nichter, Connor Powe, Bryce Nichter and Ashlyn Powe; his siblings, Nancy Patterson (Jon) and Timothy Nichter; and his pet Riley.
