It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Armstrong in Perrysburg, Ohio, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Armstrong and Ann Armstrong (Androvich); and his brother Robert W. Armstrong. He is survived by: his wife Gaye Gurtzweiler; his children, Edna Armstrong of Perrysburg, OH, Robert Armstrong (Ann Marie Meyer) of Lorain, OH and Diane Kapp of Curtice, OH.; his grandchildren, Melissa Pope (Brad), Joe Kapp (Jody) and Todd Kapp (Melissa); and his nieces, Jill Kolbeck (John), Joni Vidra (Lenny), Jean Will (Rich) and Gloria Gurtzweiler.
The family requests that memorials take the form of contributions to: Stony Ridge United Methodist Church or the Friends of Magee Marsh.
