It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen E Smietana of Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Toledo, Ohio, who passed away on March 24, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Richard Rehard. She is survived by: her mother Naomi Rehard (Wilson); her husband Richard Smietana; her daughters, Sarah Carpenter (Randy) and Julie McLaughlin; her grandchildren, Colton (Sweet Pea), Carpenter (Tater Tot), Taylor, Teagan and Torrie McLaughlin; and her sisters, Susan Hormozian (Nicolas) and Mary Rehard.
Memorial donations in Karen's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the American Red Cross.
