He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldebert Lanzenberger and Adelheit "Heidi" Lanzenberger (Bodenmiller); and his daughter Ingrid Surface. He is survived by: his wife Inge Kuckelkorn; his daughter Rebecca Zaborski; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Brown, Paul Zaborski (Ann), Kyle Surface, Adam Surface and Heidi Surface; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia, Lorelei, Constance and Eloise; and his siblings, Gunnar Lanzenberger (Irma) and Wiltrude Fackler (Franz).
Memorial contributions may be made in Herman's name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg.
