He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Sanchez and Antonia Sanchez (Fuentes); his wife Maria "Reyes" Castro; and his siblings, Oscar, Jose Mario, Rosa, Jose Luis, Feliz and Benigno.
He is survived by: his daughter Elisa Rodriguez (Rosendo); his grandsons, Rosendo Rodriguez, Jr. and Mario Rodriguez (Eloisa); his great grandchildren, Alejandro, Gabriella, Aniyah and Annalicia; and his brothers, Juan Sanchez (Guadalupe) and Tony Sanchez (Carol Moreno). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
