It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Sue Schmidt of Perrysburg, Ohio, born in Kokomo, Indiana, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Joe; her daughters, Erica DeVries (Eric), Elissa Schmidt and Kaleena Burleson (John); her grandchildren, Ethan, Ella DeVries and Felicity Burleson; her siblings, Gary Ashenfelter (Connie), Sally Rutledge, Joyce Martenies and Kim Ashenfelter; and her friend Charlotte. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
