She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Piorkowski and Gertrude Piorkowski (Breska); her brother Richard; and her sister-in-law Marlene Piorkowski. She is survived by: her husband Jack A. Emmitt; her children, Kelly A. Emmitt-Gillingham, Kathy A. Emmitt-Killy, Christopher D. Emmitt (Michelle), Kerry A. Emmitt Healy (Chris) and Jonathan M. Emmitt (Jennifer Coy); her grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Dominic, Zachary, Hunter, Logan, Toryn, Mason, Kennedy and Avery; her great grandchildren, Chloe, Carter, Coda, Paisley and Oliver; and her pets, Rudy and Gibson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the church.
