He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas and Johanna. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Kathy Stock (Dave), Steve Thurn, Jeanette Cupp (Dennis) and Lisa Thurn-Elflein (Dave); his grandchildren, Ryan Stock (Sunny), Stephanie Lilley (Jeremiah), Carrie Fike (Brian), Steve Thurn, Emily Stanley (Sam), Katy Elflein-Tuttle (Brett), Sarah Goodyear (Joel) and Tim Elflein; his sister Marilyn Plank; and his sister-in-law Jeanne Schaefer. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Pelotonia.
