He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar G Fisher and Margaret A Fisher-Sprague (Cook); his wife Shirley Fisher (Smith); and his sons, Scotty Fisher, Gary Fisher and Tony Fisher.

He is survived by: his sons, Howard Fisher (Patty), Tim Fisher (Sharon) and Steve Fisher (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Heather Lowe, Garrett Fisher, Keon Fisher, Austin Fisher, Emily Fisher, Christopher Fisher (Ashley) and Mark Fisher; his great grandchildren, Destiny Fisher and Lexi Fisher; and his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Fisher and Albert Minton (Nancy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and his church family.
