He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Salminen and Saima Salminen (Rantila); his wife Donna Jo; and his siblings, David, Edwin, Eino, Wilho and Helmi Salminen.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Salminen and Jeff Salminen; and his grandchildren, Samuel and Kirsten Salminen.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
