Myron Lee Parker Obituary
Myron Lee (Chuck) Parker, 85 of Painesville, passed away August 27, 2023 at UH Lake West Hospital. He was born February 27, 1938 in Gloucester, Ohio to the late Christopher and Evelyn (Gatchel) Parker.
Mr. Parker was a veteran of the US. Air Force. After his military duty he was employed on various boats of the Great Lakes as a deckhand and also by the Army Corps of Engineers – Great Lakes. Mr. Parker then was an owner-operator of a long-haul truck for over 15 years, known by the handle "Popeye". He is survived by his daughter, Colleen (Lee) Adams of Hawaii, grandsons Maxwell (Jaimee) Adams and Emerson Adams of Hawaii and great-grandson Samuel Adams. He is also survived by his sisters Cheryl Parker, Chrissie Parker, and Melissa (Dan) Klawon of Painesville.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy (Hayer) Parker. He was also preceded in death by late wife Joyce L. (Wirtanen) Parker, step-daughter Cherie LaForce, and brother Victor Beshara.
A service will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville, Ohio on Thursday, September 7, 2023.
