He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert J. Advey and Ruth Advey (Alden); and his brothers, Bob, Tom, John and Charlie Advey.
He is survived by: his wife Maggie Advey; his daughter Katy Olds (Ryan); his grandsons, Rhys and Chase Olds; and his siblings, Larry Advey, Don (Sue), Ron (Kris), Ruth Mulcahy, Laura Corrigan (Tom), Rita Kohr (Advey) and Becky Merkosky (Rich). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
