He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Durst and Ada Durst; his sisters, Clara Johnson, Mary Langoehr, Freeda Schmidt and Dorothy Campbell; and his great grandchild Gabriella Marie Ann Sustarsic.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Durst; his children, Art (Diane), Cynthia, Diane Swartz (Dave), Karen and Melissa Graham (Tom); his grandchildren, Amy Durst Panebianco, Sergeant Major Matthew Pizzi, Rob Durst, Stephanie Soldat, Renee Gaffney, Brian Swartz, Elizabeth Swartz, Suzie Swartz, Sarah Swartz, Michael Swartz, Jeremy Emmer, Michael Sustarsic, Derek Sustarsic, Elisabeth Graham and Evan Graham; and his siblings, Rosalie Webb of Mountainview, Bill Durst, John Durst and Clifford Durst. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Painesville Baptist Church.
